How far from Toronto Can I book a performance?
Spencer in based in Toronto and mainly performs in and around the Greater Toronto Area but will travel to perform anywhere in Canada. Performances outside the Greater Toronto Area may cost extra for travel expenses.
is spencer's material APPROPRIATE for all ages?
Yes. Spencer doesn't perform any material inappropriate for children. Though because Spencer mainly performs for adults and older children, many effects may be difficult for children under 5 to follow. If your event has some younger children, please let us know and Spencer can bring extra effects just for them.
What are spencer's rates?
Spencer doesn't charge an hourly rate, the pricing of an appearance depends on the date, location and type of performance. Contact us and we'll put together a package to fit your event and a quote to fit your budget.
What Kind of magic does Spencer perform?
Spencer specializes in close-up magic, meaning effects that your guests participate in and interact with, magic that happens right in front of them or sometimes in their own hands.
What is the DIFFERENCE between strolling magic and a show?
With strolling magic, Spencer mingles with your guests during the event, giving each small group (usually 2-5 people) their own personal, close-up performance. In a show, Spencer gives a longer structured performance to everyone at once, bringing up volunteers to participate and interact. For most occasions, a short show followed by strolling magic is a great way to get the best of both worlds!
Is SPencer Insured?
Yes. While Spencer's material doesn't contain any dangerous elements, we are insured up to $2 million in liability coverage.
How long is each show?
Spencer puts each show together to fit what your party needs. We normally recommend between 15 and 35 minutes but can provide longer or shorter shows if needed. For strolling magic, Spencer typically spends 3-5 minutes with each group.
Can Spencer do something special for our guest of honour?
Certainly! If you're celebrating a birthday, baby shower, graduation, anniversary or anything to honor someone special, Spencer can add something to the show to put your guest at the center of the magic. If Spencer's just performing strolling, he can still add a single performance for everyone at the end featuring your special guest.
